A massive well done to the incredible staff team ?? “I was very reluctant to place my mum in a care home, but for her own well being and safety it became necessary. I definitely chose the right home. It is extremely well run by the manager and wonderful staff. So caring, so respectful of residents and so good at communication. Fun too. Mum is very happy and so am I.”

Rutland Care Village in Oakham

This lovely poem “Angels” was written by John Ashby He stayed at Rutland care Village in Oakham for a short respite and left recently. He wrote the poem in honour of the home and all the hard work they do! They say that Angels are so few Well that’s not really true Look and you will find Angels everywhere In hospitals and care homes, you will find them there Our nurses who care for our every need Are they Angels? Yes, yes indeed Our care workers who are there to the end How age takes its toll they become our best friend Everything they do is done with a smile So stop and look around just for a while And all these things you will see Maybe one day you will need them like me Even tho I still long to be back home I am cared for by the nicest people I have known Bless you all.
